Most Kenyan listings in this demo are priced in KSh, but the Runda rental is publicly quoted in USD. The site now stores listing-level currency text and symbol so one property can display KSh while another displays USD without converting or mislabeling the amount.
The global money formatter has also been hardened so Kenyan shilling prices do not render as duplicate text such as KSh 85,000,000 KES. That fix applies across property cards, property details, request modals, and future listings that use the shared formatter.
Operational rule: enter the amount exactly as quoted by the owner or public source, choose the matching currency, and only convert after the client confirms the exchange rate and payment currency in writing.
